Setting Up the Project In Google Drive

_OProjects Shared Folder
👉 Navigate to _OProjects
Your Supervisor will help you get a Google Drive account.
Once you are given Google login credentials, you will need to head over to your Drive. Navigate to Shared with me and find the _OProjects folder. If you do not see this, please request access from your Supervisor.

👉 Copy the Estimating Folder
Our Estimating Department uses Microsoft's File Explorer to perform their document storage. It is can be accessed through a networked drive we call the "L-Drive". Your Supervisor will be able to help get you access to the L-Drive.
Once you are in, you will need to find the folder that pertains to your project, make a copy of it and paste it into your projects Google Drive folder.
Project Tracker (Formerly Form C)
Now that you have set up your folder, you must build your Project Tracker.
Open up the Project Tracker - Template Google Sheet. Open up your original AQ file (the one with all the manufacturers). Make sure that the AQ file's first seven columns are in this order:
- ItemNo
- Mfr
- Model
- Qty
- Unit
- Category
- Spec Select every row for those seven columns, copy and paste them into the Project Tracker by selecting the cell located in A15.
Then, go to ARS Function > Project Cooridinator and select Build Project Tracker
Wait until the function is complete before exiting the Project Tracker.
